Pin Grading Guide
🦖 ENAMEL PIN QUALITY GRADING GUIDE 🦖
Due to the nature of enamel pins being handmade, not every pin will look perfect and flaws may occur. Every pin artist has their own grading system; our pins are closely inspected and categorized to the best of our ability, using our personal grading and quality checking standards. Pins are graded based on the visible face side, and the sides and backs are not analyzed except in regards to the backstamp or pin posts. Please take this into consideration prior to purchasing.

📣 All Avatar pins may inhibit slightly more flaws than normal standards 📣
STANDARD-GRADE
Standard pins are the highest quality pins we offer. They should be nearly perfect but may still have minor flaws (usually only visible under certain light and angles), such as:
- Small, minuscule bubbles or dots
- Light scratches or scuffing
- Minor discolorations, unevenness, or imperfections in the metal or enamel
- Slight underfill, overfill or uneven areas
- Slight misaligned printing
B-GRADE
B-grade pins have noticeable flaws and are sold at a discount. They may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Visible dust, dirt specks, or bubbles
- Noticeable scratches or scuffing
- Small area of underfill or overfill
- Small area of missing enamel
- Obvious discoloration or imperfections of metal or enamel
- Badly misaligned or missing printing
C-GRADE (SECONDS)
C-grade pins are the lowest quality pins we offer and are sold at a major discount. They may include:
- Large areas of dust, dirt specks, or bubbles
- Major scratches or scuffing
- Large spots of underfill or overfill
- Large or multiple areas of missing enamel
- Incorrectly filled areas
- Major discoloration or imperfections of metal or enamel
- Severely misaligned or missing printing
- Wiggly posts
